Eligibility for Admission:
A candidate who has passed the two year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Educatin Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent there to by the Mangalore University is eligible for admission to the Five Years LL.B Degree Course.

No candidate is eligible for admission to the Three Years LL.B Degree Course unless he/she has obtained a Bachelors degree of Mangalore University in any faculty or has obtained a corresponding degree of any other University recognised as equivalent by the Mangalore University.

A candidate who fulfils the above requirement, shall have obtained not less than 45% of the aggregate marks at the qualifying examination.

The students from the Universities other than Karnataka State are required to obtain the Eligibility certificate from the Mangalore University.

HOW TO APPLY:
A candidate seeking admission may apply for a copy of the college prospectus which may be obtained on payment of Rs.100/- either in person or by remitting the same by M.O.addressed to the Principal. The prospectus contains the application form also, which maybe duly filled in and submitted by Registered Post A.D. to the Principal, Vaikunta Baliga College of Law, Udupi - 576102, along with the xerox copies of marks card and a Postal Order for Rs.150/- towards registration fee in favour of the Principal, payable at Udupi. The downloaded applications should contain Rs. 100/- towards prospectus and Rs. 150/- towards Registration fees.

The admission will be made after holding an interview, the date and time of which will be intimated to the applicant in advance. If selected, the entire fees have to be paid. Fees once paid will not be refunded on any account.
